This is a very easy pattern to knit, if you know how to use 4 double pointed knitting needles....actually you will need 5. I got it here but for a beginner I thought it was a little complicated so I improvised it slightly. Needed material: about 1 skein (50 gr.) of yarn, a set of 5 double pointed needles (size suitable for the chosen yarn) and a tapestry needle. The following abbreviations are used in this pattern. Sts - Stitches; BO - Bind off; Dpn - Double pointed needles; RS - Right side; CO - Cast on; WS - Wrong side; Sl - Slip; P - Purl; K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together; K - Knit; Inc - Increase; YO - Slip yarn over/around needle.
