My hooks and knits

Both little jumpers done and honestly....I am not sorry. I am not very good at doing orders, by that I mean, some one asks me to make something, (which is fine) and want it by a certain date, ( which is not fine) I prefer to do it at my leisure, and when I do, it's usually done before said time.....anyway... but, they are done...phew! see ya

Finished the first little jumper. It was the biggest and I am glad I did it first, the second one is almost done...just have to do a sleeve and put it together.... Hope she likes them See ya

These are the four pieces to the first jumper.....I knitted the biggest one first...have started the smaller one....I have plenty of time as I don't need to give them to the lady in question until the last Thursday this month...I should have them well and truly done by then....and yes....I am getting paid for doing them....not much but, it's something! See ya!

I am volunteer at a nursing home/retirement village. One of the ladies there rang me and asked did I know some one who would knit a couple of small jumpers for her. She was wanting one for a one year old and a two year old... Seeing I know a few ladies who knit, I told her I could probably fix that up for her. She is willing to pay for it and she would buy the wool. So........I organized for her to get the wool to me and you'd think all went well.....not so! The ladies I had in mind, had no intentions of wanting to do it.......now what???? I felt I'd made the promise so I didn't think it fair to let her down...I decided I would do the job myself. Here's the start of the first one....it's the biggest, so I can see how far I will get with the wool she got me! See ya!
