Doll I did.....

This is the doll I dressed for a pre-school. It's the second one I have done...They love playing with them see ya!

Granny square blanket for a friend!

I did this granny blanket for a friend....She'd been waiting so long for it, I finally finished it, she picked the colours! She loves it! see ya!

The wool I frogged now in the process....

I started this hat in the nice cream colour that I was going to make the sleeveless top out of! I think it will look real good when I am done with it.... What do you think? Should look o.k.? Oh well.... see ya!

That sleeveless top?

The sleeveless top I mentioned before? It did not work out so good, so..... I totally frogged it.....then sat and looked at the balls of wool for a few months, and hey presto, I spotted a couple of nice patterns. I decided to use them and do something with the wool. Will show you when I'm done! Still have to figure out how to put a photo here, the ones I did before were a fluke! See ya!

I have been busy!

I have been visiting a nursing home, and have been teaching some of the people there, how to crochet, and we have a lot of laughs too. I am also making a few beanies, which I will show, as soon as I figure out how to put a photo on here, so for now, this is it. Oh, a friend also bought another doll for me to dress.I will show it too, as soon as the photo session is figured out. So long for now. See ya.

Shucks.....

Shucks....I have been slack..... I was working on a sleeveless top and it turned out so bad, I threw it in the corner! As I started it last year, I am not doing real good with it..... Will leave it for now.... I did 2 beanies for a couple of lovely young girls, as well as a couple of crocheted bows, put them on clips and they can either wear them on their hair or clip them onto their tops. And then I also did a couple of cross book mark, which I really enjoy making. I stiffened them in modge podge...They loved them too and sent me a photo of the 2 of them wearing their beanies and holding the cross up! Nice to think the younger generations still enjoys hand made stuff... see ya!
This doily is said to be nearly 100 years old...it is irish crochet and I am going to try and copy it.....it is nearly falling to pieces so it won't hurt to make a copy see ya!

Cup and saucer...

A little cup and saucer pin cushion effect I saw on a you tube, except it was in a foreign language and she did it with bought lace. I thought it would be rather pretty with crocheted lace around it instead....This is the result. See ya!

More work

I have started to make a small top...a size 10, I think. I will make a bodice and do the Irish crochet onto that, then finish the bottom part, to the length required, which I don't know yet.... I am not rushing this as it will be my first ever Irish crochet project and I was told to do something small, like a bib.....Well, I am not wasting all that work on a bib, and I don't have children small enough to wear one so a small sized top it is... see ya!

Just starting!

I love knitting and crocheting....so I will show my things here and also will probably give instructions to some of the things I have made... Here, for starters is a doll I outfitted...and enjoyed doing it too....It was for a little grand daughter of a friend of mine, for Christmas...she loved it! Hope you will enjoy.... See..Ya!
